When you untag yourself in photos on Facebook, do your friends still see a notification that you were tagged?

If I untagged it fairly quickly, will it still show up to my friends that I was tagged/show the picture?

That means she has the photo on her page *in her album*... and since you're tagged in it, it's also on your page *under tagged photos*





If you untag yourself from this photo, it will no longer be shown on your page.... but it will still be on hers *in her album*. Unfortunately, there is no way to delete it completely from facebook, the only thing is to ask him/her to take it off.





And by the notification thing? Do you mean in your mini-feed on your page.. becuase you can go to your profile page and click the 'X' button on any notification you do not want your friends to be able to see.
Reply:you can change your preferences so that not everything you do is shown in your mini-feed, but if that person tagged you then it's in their mini-feed and other people can see that you were tagged or others depending on their preferences.
