Are your children religiously branded, tagged with the name of your own religion?

Are they already referred to as Christian children or Muslim children?

Are your children religiously branded, tagged with the name of your own religion?
I've never heard this before. Have an experience to share?
Reply:what? i don't understand but ... most children nowadays do not believe in god , because they don't want to , teenagers want their freedom in everything and kids doesn't realize anything but when teenagers grow up with this idea in their heads it will keep growing and growing , and you can't convince them because they grew up believing that god is a fairytale .... that is how it goes
Reply:Not mine.
Reply:This issue has two sides.

Personally, I consider this brainwashing.

It's terrible to see young children throwing stones in the name of religion. Or to see toddlers praise the Lord when they have no idea yet what it's all about.

In my opinion, children should be offered all sorts of insights so that they can choose themselves what suits them best.

However, the other side of this subject is that parents usually want to give their children the very best upbringing that they can. And if you are religious yourself, you probably think that it's best for the child to get these morals and values embedded from as young an age as possible.
Reply:Definitely. But the word 'branded' may be betrays a bias on your part as if parents should not be teaching their children about God, the highest treasure in the universe
Reply:ONLY when it applies to Religious Education at school.

It's rarely an issue to anyone else.

.
Reply:"branded and tagged" you sure you are talking about children and not animals, man ? just wondering...

are atheists branded or tagged ? can you help ?

anyhow, what about Jewish children, branded or tagged ?
Reply:I left the branding irons at the old house.

The Bible says bring up a child in the way he should go.

I am raising my son with Christian values and he has already accepted Jesus as his Savior. He is being taught the value and importance of faithfulness to God, worship and praise, prayer and adoration of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

He is being taught to be courteous, to think about his education, to be honest, fair... to have integrity, humility, to speak kindly to others to be helpful and generous. He is being taught to not judge others based on their appearance. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any hate language in this house.

We teach him his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore he needs to treat it with respect, not over-feed himself or misuse his body.

But in our church and in our family, we did not refer to him as Christian until the day he accepted Christ as his Savior.

So the only ones who would have already "religiously branded" him would maybe be those who thought going to church was sufficient to brand a child with a religious label.
Reply:I am born a Jew-and was branded-yet searching for the truth I came to know Jesus=-"Let us make man in our image." Genesis

this is how I as a Hebrew Jew came to know this too= Jesus the promised messiah to die for our sins-"Unto us a child will be born, a son given, and he will be Almighty God, the prince of peace." Isaiah 9:6

how I as a Jew came to know Jesus-I prayed-"Jesus I believe you and ask you to forgive my sins and come into my heart to be my friend, amen."

Jesus promised this in Revelation 3:19%26amp;20 "I love you and knock on your heart door to come in, if you repent and ask me in, I will come in and become your friend."

Pray and I am praying for you too, David-many are coming to know the true Jesus of the bible. be branded for truth!
