Should all teenagers be electronically tagged ?

So we know where they are at any time.

Should all teenagers be electronically tagged ?
What a good idea, doubt if they would like it though.
Reply:i would cut that mofo out of my skin besides i dont go out and party OK MAYBE ONCE BUT IT WAS HALLOWEEN I DIDNT KNOW I WAS HIGH ON SUGAR *cries* Report It

Reply:No, are you nuts? I know where mine are at any given time. I raised them right.
Reply:No - why should the decent, innocent ones suffer because of the others? More likely deal properly with the troublemakers (and for me that means the return of the birch and hard community service in disctinctive uniforms with their name on them and tagging too for *them*) and then the streets will be safer (and cleaner!) for the decent folk - which includes most teenagers.
Reply:no they should be controlled by their parents properly..end off,or god help us all for the next generation..........
Reply:if that was done to me id dig it out of my skin if i had too and then leave it somewhere dangerous and disappear for a few days. and being totally honest my mother does know where i am at all times but I'm spite full like that
Reply:well not all...just the idiots. i mean i wouldn't mind....i've got nothing to hide....but so then it would be pointless.
Reply:Im a teenager. Im a good girl. It's not a good idea to do that..Erm..There's MOBILE PHONES?? Duh(!) Yeah(!)

What about husbands? wives? Most of relationships, Men don't trust women going out to clubs or whatever..Should all women be electronically tagged?

Im very offended by this stupid question. Teenagers didn't just came from PRISON!!
Reply:sparkles has got it bang on,thumbs up from me babs.
Reply:no way im fed up with everyone thinking teenagers today are all yobs we are not i am 17 in college and currently looking for a job most of my friends are still in education and have jobs so why the hell does everyone think teenager=yob ITS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:no thats insane
Reply:not all of them i am teenager (17) and i anti off my head like most of them
Reply:Of course not. That betrays their trust. It does no good. They need to learn themselves why they shouldn't go some places. Teenagers need to make mistakes to improve. Now, if you live in a bad area or have major doubts about your kids wherabouts you should take action but electronically tagging someone is for criminals.

Reply:LOL no!

Although some teenagers should have an electrical tag on them....
Reply:LOL no ! u HAVE to trust your own kids, seriously dude!
Reply:FU*K NO!! that is a total invasion of privacy
Reply:Were you high when you posted this. Crack is Whack
Reply:some yes and some no. my dad always knows where I am. and he almost never has to call me to find out. I call him. he knows that if I am not at work, school, or church that I am home, on the road, or at camp... and he knows that I will call him when I am about to go some where. I have never sneaked out of the house, and never plan to. he has no need to "tag" me because I have spent years building up his trust.
Reply:LOL, that sounds like a perfect solution.

How about one of those chips you put in cats and dogs just under the skin?
Reply:No!! That is totally screwed up! I hate the idea of tagging, ID cards, etc - we are already under so much surveillance, I'd like us to hold on to what little privacy/freedom we have left... like the freedom to go down to the shop for a pint of milk without someone watching you as a little red blip on a screen somewhere... George Orwell was so right when he made 1984, people are actually getting brainwashed into supporting this stuff!!
Reply:Nah just lock them up! lol. Seriously though I think this society is becoming too paranoid. You have to give kids freedom and I don't think things have changed from when I was a child and I used to have a lot more freedom. People are getting too scared from all the media hype about paedophiles and crime and it's very detrimental to the future of our children. I don't mind mobiles but tagging is a big no no. Life is for living not for worrying about what "might" happen. I'd rather not live if I'd had to live like that as a teenager.
Reply:NO, neither should dogs.
Reply:Stop with the stupid ideas and wish-lists. It makes me want to gag.

If they put electronic tags on teens you might as well inject them into every couple that gets married because you know SOMEONE'S going to be grilled as to about their whereabouts.

The answer is, "NO".

We would just shock ourselves repeatedly until the chip was fried anyway.
Reply:Would you like to be tagged? I don't think so.
Reply:if you don't trust them now, its a little to late to do anything about it. you should raise them right as children and then trust them enough to live life on their own, not try to control them
Reply:I've got a teenager and he doesn't need to be tagged if you has a parent have done your job properly then there is no need my son always tells me where he his because he knows if he doesn't I will keep him in! so no I don't that's like saying should all young girls be sterilised so that we don't have teen pregnancys. No!!!
Reply:Yes. And they should have to check in every hour on the hour. lol
Reply:It's called a cell phone, and it is either attached to an ear or a hand.
Reply:no dont be a divvy
Reply:no, cos then pervs will know where we are at all times as well.

you just seem like a sad loser who has bought into the steriotype teenager that we are all bad and are doing drugs and alcohol on street corners. get a life!
Reply:Tagging is not enough. They should add a taser mechanism that fires automatically when they go out of range.
Reply:Yes yes and yes. If we microchip our dogs and put GPS on our vehicles, shouldn't we care enough to do the same for our kids?
