I Just got an invite from my friend and while I was registering, I got to a unsecured page, no 's' in http or a lock icon, that showed my email address and it said to enter the password for that email address so they can send me news and info.
Is it OK to enter my password or would I be 'signing up' for spam?

Reply:Whenever you sign up for a newsletter or something similar, it should only ask for your e-mail address. It should never ask for your e-mail account's password, why do they need it to send you e-mail? They are trying to steal your password. Also never enter sensitive information on unencrypted pages (without the https protocol or the padlock).
